How to Judge if the dashboard is MQB ?
How to judge whether the car dashboard is MQB platform, you can judge it in the following ways
- Characteristics of MQB platform: The main feature of MQB platform is its strong scalability, which can produce multiple different models at the same time. The advantage of this platform is that it saves space and can maximize the use of car space, but the disadvantage is that it is difficult to install complex front suspension of the car, so the cars produced under this platform usually use McPherson independent suspension, and the gearbox position adopts T-shaped layout
- Model identification: Many models launched by Volkswagen are from MQB platform, so if the vehicle is a new model of Volkswagen or Skoda, then its dashboard is likely to be a product of MQB platform. For example, if the vehicle is a newer model of Volkswagen or Skoda, such as Golf, Tiguan, etc., then its dashboard is likely to be MQB platform
- Check vehicle configuration: If the vehicle configuration mentions "digital cockpit" or "active information display (AID)" and other functions, this may indicate that the vehicle uses MQB platform. MQB platform supports advanced driver assistance systems and infotainment systems, which are a feature of MQB platform models
In summary, you can judge whether the car dashboard is MQB platform by understanding the model, brand, and configuration of the vehicle. If the vehicle is a newer model of brands such as Volkswagen or Skoda, and is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems and infotainment systems, then its dashboard is likely to be a product of the MQB platform
